Freshwater cultured pearls are remarkably similar in appearance to the more expensive Akoya cultured pearls, but because they are easier to cultivate and tend to be smaller and more irregular in shape, they are more affordable. The pearls in these earrings can be expected to range between 6.0 and 6.5mm, and they will have medium luster and are lightly blemished.

Too small to make a statement
I bought these with the matching pendant because they were on sale for $20. For that price, I'm happy with the earrings. On their own they are too small to make a fashion statement, but paired with diamond studs or some gold hoops, they look really nice. The box they came in is also lovely.

I bought these with the matching pendant with diamond accent for my boyfriend's mom as a birthday gift. They are the perfect size for everyday outfit. I have read reviews from others that the pearls fell off. I would have no way to know how they last, but they are beautiful and would defintely buy more of the same.

I bought these earrings along with the matching pearl pendant for my sister's birthday. After I saw them on her, I decided to get them for myself!
